Ampere Technologies · Electronics design & EMC

Electronics that work on the bench and pass EMC first time.

We design circuits and PCBs, review layouts for EMC, and fix products that fail at the test house — so you reach market without costly re-spins.

Current services

Pun intended. Six ways we help an idea become a quiet, reliable, production-ready board.

Circuit & Schematic Design

Power supplies, analogue front-ends, sensors and microcontroller systems, with component selection and simulation where it matters.

PCB Layout

Multi-layer, high-speed and rigid-flex layouts with sensible stack-ups, controlled impedance and clean return paths.

EMC Design & Layout Review

An independent EMC review of your schematic and PCB before you order boards, with a written report of risks and fixes.

Pre-compliance & Troubleshooting

Emissions and immunity checks before the formal test, and root-cause fixes for products that have already failed.

Project Recovery

Inherited a half-finished design, or a board that never quite worked? We audit what's there, keep what's good and finish the job.

The Ampere EMC path: Plan · Probe · Fix · Pass

Most EMC failures are decided at layout.

Fixing a problem on paper costs far less than fixing it after a failed scan. We get involved as early as you'll let us — and if you're already past that point, we'll find the root cause and fix it.

Plan — before hardware

Schematic and PCB layout reviews: stack-up, grounding, return paths, filtering, decoupling and cable interfaces.

Probe — on prototypes

Pre-compliance scans for conducted and radiated emissions, plus ESD and immunity checks against your target standards.

Fix — after a failure

We track down where the noise starts and how it escapes, then give you a quick patch to retest with and a proper fix for the next revision.

Pass — at the test house

Test plan preparation and support on the day, so formal compliance testing goes smoothly.

Where our boards end up

From first call to finished board

  1. 01

    Free design call

A call to understand your product, requirements, target markets and the standards it must meet. NDA on request.

  2. 02

    Proposal & quote

A clear scope, deliverables, timeline and price, agreed before any work starts.

  3. 03

    Design & review

Schematic and layout with check-ins at each milestone, and EMC reviewed throughout — not bolted on at the end.

  4. 04

    Handover & support

Gerbers, BOM, pick-and-place and documentation, with support through prototyping and compliance testing.

Questions engineers ask us

Can you review a design we've already done?

Yes. Once an NDA is in place, we'll send you a secure link for your schematic and layout files, then return a written EMC and design review with prioritised recommendations.

Our product failed EMC testing. Can you help?

Yes. After an NDA, share the test report and a sample unit with us; we'll find the root cause and propose both quick fixes and a permanent design change.

Will you sign an NDA?

Of course — we're happy to sign an NDA before you share any files.

Which design tools do you use?

We work with the common PCB design tools and can usually pick up your existing design files.

How do you price projects?

Every project is different, so we quote individually. After a free design call we'll send a written quote with the scope and timeline.

Got a board to design or an EMC problem to fix?

Tell us what you're building and we'll get back to you. Happy to sign an NDA before you send anything.
